Welcome to Black Palm Candles!

I am a candle enthusiast and RN who decided a year ago (2023) to turn my obsession into a business. I absolutely love thematic scents to procure nostalgia of a certain place and/or time and subsequently have bought and used candles my entire adult life.  I am a mother to 2 boys- one of which has many allergies.  I had an epiphany one day while....candle shopping... that if I can make clean candles, I could negate the worry of wondering what we are breathing at home without sacrificing the reminiscence that certain scents evoke. 

 My husband and I started this venture in October of 2023. After months of research, testing, more research, more testing...lots of input from friends and family...we came up with a line of strong scented, Paraffin/Phalate/Paraben/Carcinogen-free clean burning candles.  Our candles are vegan and cruelty-free as well.  

We now sell 2 sizes predominately:

8 oz tin coconut/soy candles- I suggest for bathroom size rooms

3 wick coconut/soy candles - larger open areas

General rule with scent throw for candles is 8 oz for every 10 foot radius of the room one wants the fragrance to fill.  The 3 wicks are comparable to big box store paraffin blend candles in performance-but without the worry. This was my goal and we are finally ready to share. 

Our wax is U.S.A. grown/manufactured

No California 65 Warnings for wax nor fragrance oils

All of our candles are procured in small batches, cured for two weeks minimum, then burn tested prior to sale. 

We keep our prices as affordable as possible as we want to provide the best product possible for our friends, family, and clients.  

Our wicks are composed of braided cotton and paper; they are zinc and lead free as well
